The History of Protect My Ministry:
In 2004 a group of individuals, with over a decade of experience in the background screening industry, began thinking of ways to improve the service quality of background checks for ministries. This well planned effort launched into a successful business ministry, called Protect My Ministry, and is now serving thousands of ministries in all 50 states of America.
While seeking out the best ways to improve quality and maintain the lowest price possible, a new process was developed that would eventually revolutionize the faith-based marketplace for background checks, called national criminal database "re-verification."
What was missing in an industry driven by price was a healthy balance between cost and comprehensiveness. Protect My Ministry used their industry experience and proprietary process of "re-verification" to develop a National Background Check service that is timely, cost effective and accurate.
Protect My Ministry listened further to the needs of ministries - to grow their active volunteer base, while keeping their costs of volunteer recruiting and background checks under control. To meet this need Protect My Ministry developed the industries first online volunteer application system, called Ministry Mobilizer. Protect My Ministry's Ministry Mobilizer is now helping take churches and ministries to the next level in paperless volunteer recruiting and background screening.
